"The greatest gift is not found in a store nor under a tree, but in the hearts of true friends." The intention for this project is to encourage a relational understanding of design as a device to transcend the value of friendship in the contemporary society.

Starting from a study documented in the June 2006 issue of the journal American Sociological Review, Americans are thought to be suffering a loss in the quality and quantity of close friendships since at least 1985. Considering Friendship as a lost of knowledge in the need to be revisited, the design outcome for this project is produced in a series of booklets comprised with three components of friendship: Remembering, Understanding, and Practice as three entry points to reintroduce this subject.
